Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the products that Arcbyte Labs ("arcbyte") provides at arcbyte.app and its subdomains (the "Products").

Product-specific terms are set out in each product's addendum (/legal/<product>). Where an addendum differs from these terms, the addendum prevails.

These terms take effect when posted on the Products.

We may update them within the limits of applicable law. We will post changes at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if a change is unfavorable to you.

arcbyte ships small products quickly and decides whether to keep each one based on real usage. Features may change, and a Product may be shut down.

If we shut down a Product, we will announce it on the Product and on arcbyte.app at least 30 days in advance.

Paid content stays available for the period promised in the addendum. If we cannot keep that promise, we will give a refund as set out in the addendum (pro-rated if the addendum says nothing).

Products may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or because of outages. We announce planned maintenance in advance.

Most Products work without an account.

Some Products have age requirements, which are listed in the addendum. If you do not meet them, you may not use that Product.

Paid purchases are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) as merchant of record. Payment, receipts and taxes (such as VAT) follow Creem's policies.

Creem's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase and payment contract with Creem and state that they prevail over conflicting product-specific terms. No terms limit consumer rights protected by mandatory law. We work with Creem to fulfil the additional refund commitments we make in our Refund Policy and the product addendum.

The price is the amount and currency shown at checkout. Because payment goes through an overseas processor, the amount charged in your local currency may vary with your card issuer's exchange rate and fees.

We never receive or store your card details.

Refunds follow our Refund Policy (/refund) and the product addendum.

You must have the right to use anything you enter (names, text, images and so on).

If you enter information about someone else, make sure it will not upset or harm them.

You may not enter:

• sexual, explicit or sexually suggestive content (including asking a Product to generate it)
• abuse, slurs, hate or harassment
• other people's personal details such as phone numbers or addresses
• anything that infringes others' rights (copyright, likeness, reputation)
• anything illegal

We may block or remove such content, automatically or manually.

Products that generate content with AI have their own Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Each policy is shown on the product's site and in its addendum.

Rights in content you submit and parts you create remain with you or the lawful rights holder.

To the extent of the rights we hold or can lawfully license, you may use the results personally, as a gift and on social media.

We do not guarantee exclusivity, copyright protection or non-infringement of third-party rights. Any permitted scope of commercial use is disclosed in the product information before purchase.

You permit us to reproduce, store, transmit and process your inputs and results through our contracted providers only as needed to provide the service and the sharing you request.

Trying to get around usage limits

Testing or bypassing a Product's security without our prior permission

Impersonating someone else

If we find a violation, we may restrict your use or remove the related results.

If you see a result that infringes someone's rights or is otherwise inappropriate, use the report button in the Product or email hello@arcbyte.app.

We start reviewing reports within 24 hours.

Calculations and estimates are based on public information and are for reference only. Decisions you make based on them are your own.

We are not liable for losses caused by events beyond our control, by your own fault, or by outages at third-party providers (hosting, payment, AI and so on), except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

Free Products are provided as is, to the extent permitted by law.

These terms, restrictions and removals do not limit consumer withdrawal, refund or compensation rights required by applicable law.

This section governs your product-use relationship with arcbyte, under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes concerning your purchase contract with Creem are addressed under Creem's Buyer Terms, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction.

If a dispute arises, please contact hello@arcbyte.app first. If it cannot be resolved, it will be handled by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
